that's not my reason
I want him for one more year, then he should leave - to play for trophies

he will get punishment for what he did - sadly disproportionately (ref: lal's post)
what did Defoe get?

I don't think Rafa would curb Suarez/Coutinho/Sturridge any more than Brendan does.
On the plus side, Rafa can generally get good players

Biting one side, but his performance was world class
His assit for the 1st goal was aweome. He made it look so simple.
And also his header back to sturridge for the 2nd goal was good.
But biting was funny.

that's right, the biting was utterly harmless (looks stupid though)

"Inevitably there will be takers for Suárez. Liverpool can use such funds for less gifted but less embarrassing reinforcements." - Henry Winter (The Telegraph)

Some people want to see what can be done with football
Some are easily embarrased

See two or three of these every week, there were four today, two by City - Nasri on Walker (high studs first) and forget the other- and one each by Sturridge (studs tackle)and Toserr (elbow).
A bite from a player whose teeth don't even meet is hardly going to cause a scratch leave alone Ivanobit being out for weeks injured.
People need to switch off SSN.
Intent was there and he will get a 3-8 match ban and I won't argue against it.
However the witch hunt needs to stop.
Those instigating it need to sort their own ship (and facts) out first.
Gerrard Liverpool manager? Australia to punish Suarez?
Amateurs.
No wonder they need this sensationalism to attract viewers.

SSN is man utd's pet channel so not surprised at all

The Liverpool striker faces a lengthy ban after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association for sticking his teeth into Branislav Ivanovic's arm. "It was absolutely appalling," said Alan Hansen on Match of the Day 2. "It's horrific for Liverpool Football Club and the player himself." Liverpool have already fined their leading goalscorer but what further punishment should he face? You tell me. Alan Green, on BBC Radio 5 live, says Liverpool should ban Suarez for the rest of the season.

Otherwise, I want to see the rare skills in football (it's not just about having someone in 'our' club, I enjoyed Ronaldo's sklls when he was playing for ManU).
Even Ronaldo would be proud of RVP's 2nd goal against Villa tonight. Now leading Prem League goalscorer and Suarez possibly out for the remainder of the season.

FA are unlikely to extend any ban into the new season lest Liverpool release substantial funds to buy another good striker (not an easy task for the Fergie Assoc).
I often wonder why the british-proclaimed "working class hero" Ferguson gets so much patronage from the right-wing papers and political parties!
